■ Health Care Program : KCW&RF historically was very much involved in providing primary health care to the urban slums communities. Our response has been to scale down medical projects where the need is being elsewhere but to continue and expand in areas where there remain gaps. We also seek to raise awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS within the communities of slums to reduce the stigma attached to the disease and to educate men, women and their children.

■ While surveying the red light areas, we felt the need to reach out to the commercial sex worker's(CSW) community and specifically their innocent children, who are being constantly bombarded with all the evil influence, sexual immorality, prostitution all around them, these evil scenario is badly affecting these tender lives... none seems concerned, their future is under threat...

KCW&RF is an outreach for the CSW(commercial sex worker) community and their children, focusing to bring educational and moral awareness, reach their mothers and in turn aim for transforming the community with God's Love !

■ "Aiming to transform the community"
Conservative estimates state that around & more than 300,000 children in India are forced into commercial sex.

■ CARE HOME...
The rapid spread of HIV/AIDS in India is a cause for great increasing concern. In the growing scenario of HIV+ affected families, the little innocent children are left behind, as the parents die of AIDS, the tragedy worsens, when many are infected with HIV■ since birth without any faults of their's...

■ If so in many cases knowing the child being HIV+, none of the relatives would dare to care for them and this leaves such children with tremendous rejection, fear, loneliness, starvation and ultimately death...?

They Need Care, WE must respond...
It is estimated that India has largest number of AIDS orphans of any country... and this number is expected to double in the next five years.
